Life is the ultimate game of survivor. Every single day is going to be different from the next. Some days you are going to feel high and that you can take on the world. There are also some days you are going to feel like the world is against you and wish to wallow in your own self-pity. Those are the days you need to question whether it is really life out to get you or you just setting yourself up for disaster. Is the world standing in your way or is it your ideas that are holding you back? Every day you have two options – You can choose to act like a victim or you can choose to be the warrior.

We all have had those moments that you simply want to feel sorry for yourself. When life throws another challenge at you and you question whether you can handle anymore. You can easily give up and give in to the negativity, but that is when the negativity gangs up on you. The greater negative thoughts you have, the more negative your situation is going to become. It is really by pointing out way that you look at the situation.

The Victim's Way of thinking – The world is out to get me. Nothing ever comes as easy for me as it does for everyone else around me. I should just give up because I know I am never going to get ahead. There is no point in trying because I know it is not going to work in my favor. Nobody will ever give me a break or ever believes within me. They want to see me fail, to allow them to hold it against me. I will never be successful. I will never accomplish my dreams. Nobody ever cares about me or what's happening to me. I am in this alone.

The Warrior's Thought Process – I am prepared to take on the world today. I would not want to do this, but I know I can accomplish this and I will feel better afterward. This might not have gone the way in which I planned, but I can and will make this work in my favor. This isn't going to be easy, but I am ready to work my ass off for it and try to make this happen. I might not succeed, but a minimum of I will know that I a minimum of gave it my all. That didn't work out for me, but a minimum of I now know that that wasn't the right path for me. I can try to make this work. I am open to a challenge. I'm ready for anything.

Your mentality is 1 / 2 of the battle. It doesn't matter what hand you're dealt, you are your own worst enemy. It's in those moments you need to fight. You have to fight on your own. Fight for your future. Fight for the positive thoughts and allow them to shine through. You don't have to have all happy and sunshine moments, but you will have to look for the light at the end of the tunnel and keep it. Just remember all of the challenges you had already been through that you didn't think you had been going to get past. In your deepest, darkest times, remember that you are a warrior that can get through anything.
